Guest Speaker: John Beram
Our presenter this evening is John Beram, a local storyteller, who has visited us often over the past few years to help bring alive our local history. John has demonstrated many times his ability to dig deep into a topic and discover local connections long forgotten.
John has spent the past four years researching the Great War, including travelling to France to visit the battlefields. For the past four Novembers he has come and presented to us the history of the First World War and especially its impact on the people of the Junction. This will be a presentation that you do not want to miss.
The WTJHS Archives will open at 6 pm,
meeting room doors open at 6:30 pm.

Christopher Moore: A Life in History
In Conversation with Neil Ross
Chris Moore stands in Partners Row in the Toronto office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon. Each partners’ portrait is hung, beginning with Edward Blake (in the top left corner) who started with the firm in 1856.
The two time Governor-General Award winning historian reflects on a lifetime chronicling politics, law and adventure in Canada — and in the Junction.
