Annual General Meeting 2021

April 1, 2021 – What We’re Cooking Up:

The Society’s 2021 AGM will convene by Zoom video conference at 7:00 pm EST on Thursday, April 1 2021. Telephone access will be available for those without internet access. The AGM agenda will include minutes of the October 22, 2020 AGM, the 2020 financial statements, a proposed 2021 budget, reports from the Treasurer and Membership Secretary and updates on other activities. The President will report on 2020 accomplishments and events.

Only paid-up members are entitled to vote at the AGM but other interested people are welcome to participate in the Zoom meeting. If you have not renewed your membership for 2021 or want to become a member, please click HERE.

Material for the AGM will be posted at wtjhs.ca by March 25, 2021, along with the Zoom invitation and instructions to join the meeting online or by telephone.

Call for Nominations

The AGM will elect the Society’s officers for the coming year: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Membership Secretary and Corresponding Secretary. Please forward nominations (with the permission of the person being nominated) for any of these positions to junctionhistorical@gmail.com by March 15, 2021. The nominating committee will present to the AGM a slate of candidates for election. Nominations from the floor also will be accepted.
